All employees should be aware of the company's policy on the proper and legal use of email at work or even from home if they are using their company's email account.
We have seen many legal cases where archived email has been searched to provide evidence of wrong doing by an employee. The proper use of email also includes using proper language and not for sending jokes, pictures or any other forms of communication that would be harassing in nature.
