Diversity Challenges  What would you do?  two open-ended scenarios to stimulate group discussion into the complex areas of diversity.

Scenario One:  We watch as a new job candidate is taken for a company tour and is clearly put off by the diverse workforce.   The candidate  has the experience and skills needed for the position but  appears uncomfortable with the diverse workforce. The hiring decision is yours what would you do?

Scenario Two: Two skilled employees are matched up as a team for a big project but one of them is clearly put off by working with their team member.  The deadline is drawing nearer and there are some serious communication problems about their differences.  What would you do?

Each of the scenarios has two parts:

The Situation shares the storyline and the diversity and inclusion questions of the characters.  The video stops and ask the questions what would you do?  Giving  the audience the opportunity to openly discuss what they have seen and perceived in the vignette.  These vignettes offer rich content to enable full discussion.

The Debriefing: provides additional insight by allowing participants to hear each of the character's inner self talk.  This self talk sheds light on their inner feelaings, motivations and backgrounds.
